Support to better protect, enhance and harmonise data
As part of its Bill 25 compliance project, Groupe Danse Partout called on Synapse C to structure its data governance across its three entities: L’École de danse de Québec, La Rotonde and Maison pour la danse. This approach was intended not only to meet legal requirements in terms of the protection of personal information, but also to create the conditions for a better exploitation of the Group’s data.
A progressive approach, adapted to the realities of the cultural environment
Synapse C has implemented a structured support system that allows:
- the realization of an inventory of the data held and existing policies;
- revision of the privacy policy;
- the creation of a customized action plan taking into account the actions already undertaken by the Group to ensure its compliance with Bill 25;
- the development of policy and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
Particular attention has been paid to the harmonization of practices between the Group’s different divisions, in order to promote coherent, efficient governance adapted to cultural specificities.
A solid foundation for developing responsible business intelligence
Beyond regulatory requirements, this project paves the way for better use of data from a business intelligence perspective. Synapse C’s analysis led to concrete recommendations to leverage internal data while adhering to the principles of ethics, transparency, and security.
This mandate reflects the growing importance of a responsible and structured data culture in the arts community, and the expertise of Synapse C to support this transition.
